The most important thing on this page: Disclose & Close is not a law firm. Information you give us is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Privilege attaches only to communications with a licensed attorney you engage directly. If you want a privileged conversation, have it with your attorney, not with us.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to produce your disclosure draft and, if you ask for one, to prepare materials for an attorney consultation.
- Property information you enter. Your answers to the intake questions — the facts about your property that populate the disclosure draft.
- Contact information. Your name and email address, so we can deliver your draft and let you resume an unfinished intake.
- Basic usage data. Standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and which pages you visited, used to keep the service working and to understand where people get stuck.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, your date of birth, or your financial account numbers. If you purchase one of our paid packages, payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
How we use it
- To generate your Georgia seller's disclosure draft from your own answers.
- To let you save your progress and return to an unfinished intake.
- To prepare intake materials for an attorney consultation, only if you choose to schedule one.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To improve the product.
We do not use your property information to make any assessment, rating, or judgment about your property, and we do not evaluate whether your disclosure is complete or adequate. The tool records your answers; it does not interpret them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We share your information in only three situations:
- An attorney you choose. If you schedule a consultation or engage an attorney through our network, we deliver your intake materials to that specific attorney so they arrive prepared. We do not send your information to any attorney you have not chosen, and we do not circulate it among attorneys in the network.
- Service providers. Companies that host our infrastructure, send our email, and process payments, each acting on our instructions and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
- When the law requires it. If we receive a valid legal demand, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored on cloud infrastructure located in the United States. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep your intake and disclosure draft for as long as your account is active, so you can return to your file — including for a subsequent buyer if your first contract falls through. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
- Access. Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correction. You can edit your own answers directly in your intake at any time.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your account and your intake file. Note that once we have delivered materials to an attorney you engaged, that attorney holds their own copy under their own obligations, and we cannot delete it on their behalf.
- Email. Every non-essential email we send has an unsubscribe link.
To make any of these requests, email hello@discloseandclose.com.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your progress, and measure aggregate traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings; parts of the intake will not work if you do.
Children
The service is intended for adults selling residential property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
